Food Safety Policy
Little Melly was created in 2019 by Mrs. Jennifer Muller Mansour to fill a gap and a growing need in the Lebanese and Regional Market at the level of healthy and preservative-free baby food meals and snacks.
Little Melly offered a solution to this issue by providing healthy and freshly-cooked baby meals and snacks delivered to doorsteps and available in important points of sales. Moreover, Little Melly provides baby food introduction courses and others, as same as consulting services to parents.
Our Company is governed by the laws and standards of ISO 22000:2018, dealing with food safety.
The ISO 22000:2018 international standard specifies the requirements for a food safety management system that involves, but not limited to, the following elements: interactive communication, system management, prerequisite programs, Leadership, HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), Food Fraud and Food Defense...
Moreover, we use LIBNOR as our point of reference. LIBNOR is a public institution attached to the Ministry of Industry. It is the sole authority to prepare national standards and to give the right to use the Lebanese Conformity Mark. National standards cover all products including agri-foods.
LIBNOR is a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and of the Arab Industrial Development & Mining Organization (AIDMO).
